Physics Storeroom Equipment

Introduction

Some of the projects assigned by the IT staff will require certain equipment not stored in ERI's inventory. A wide variety of safety and lab equipment can be located in the Physics Storeroom here on campus. ERI currently has an account with them, which can be used to acquire any equipment needed for work purposes from the storeroom

Procedure

To pick-up equipment from the store room all that is needed is ERI's account code and the extension number for ERI's purchasing office. Both of these can be acquired from the purchasing office's personnel. Once you arrived at the storeroom, simply locate the equipment that is needed and enter in the appropriate information into the automated checkout system to complete the transaction. Most of the equipment acquired from the storeroom will be stored in the IT student intern's office after use.
