Acquiring Safety Equipement

Introduction

Some of the projects assigned to you by the IT staff may require certain equipment that is not in ERI's inventory. A wide variety of safety and lab equipment can be located in the Physics storeroom here on campus. ERI currently has an account with the storeroom so anything needed for work purposes can be acquired using this account.

Procedure

To purchase anything from the storeroom all that is needed is the account code and the extension of ERI's purchasing office. Both of these can be acquired from the purchasing office's personnel. Once you arrive at the storeroom, simply locate what you need from their inventory and enter in the required information into the automated checkout system to complete the transaction. Most of the equipment purchased from the storeroom will be stored in the IT student intern's office after use.
