Acquiring Safety Equipement

Introduction

Some of the projects assigned to you by the IT staff may require certain equipment that is not in ERI's inventory. A wide variety of safety and lab equipment can be located in the Physics lab storeroom on campus. ERI currently has an account with the storeroom so anything needed for work purposes here can acquired via the account.

Procedure

To purchase anything from the storeroom all that is needed is the account code and the extension of ERI's purchasing office. Both of these can be acquired from the purchasing office's personnel. The physics storeroom has an automated checkout system where you will need to enter this information along with what you are buying. Most equipment will be stored in the IT student intern's office when you are finished with it.
