Windows Server 2012 WSUS and BDC

open server Manager after install on server 2012 on sytem
under local server, run the latest updates, ensure you can remote desktop into the server and edit firewall rules if necessary.
upper right corner clock "Manage" and select Add roles and features.
- Role Based or Feature Based installation, select appropriate server.
Add Active Directory Domain Services and Windows Server Update Services, it will ask you to add a few more features and roles add them as they are required by AD and WSUS.

Server 2012
